I was intrigued by this probability trick, tricking you into thinking that your choice of changing or not changing the door you pick does not affect your winning probability of 1/3. Actually… changing your door choice gives you 2/3 probability of winning instead of 1/3.
I wrote a simple Ruby program of 100,000 participants playing the game to prove the theory.
